Brooks Ghost 14 Review

I received these Brooks Ghost 14 running shoes to review as part of being a BibRave Pro. Learn more about becoming a BibRave Pro (ambassador), and check out BibRave.com to review, find, and write race reviews!" In this review, I will be talking about the Brooks Ghost 14 running shoe. A lot of positives and only one negative. Unfortunately a negative that is not easy to overcome. This should is a neutral, high cushioned road shoe with a 12 mm drop. Brooks updated the midsole w

Saucony Kinvara 10 Review

In this review, I will be talking about the Saucony Kinvara 10 running shoe. This is my third consecutive model of the Kinvara. I really liked the Kinvara 8 and 9, but I really love the 10! This shoe weighs 7.8 ounces which is slightly more than the 9 but to be honest, it feels lighter than the 9 and 8. It truly has the weight of a racing flat in my opinion. This is a 4mm drop/offset shoe for neutral runners. Runners that like shoes like the Brooks Pure Flow or the Hoka Cavu

On Cloudsurfer Review

In this review, I will be talking about the On Cloudsurfer running shoe. A friend got me a pair of these to try out and so far I really like them. The overall feel, the fit of the upper, the responsiveness, the look and the weight are all positives for me. The price is a little higher than I expected but for what I consider a performance shoe, it's worth it. The weight of the shoe starts at 9.7 ounces with a men's 8.5 which sounds heavy and feels heavy when holding it, but do

Hoka One One Cavu Review

In this review, I will be talking about the Hoka Cavu running shoe. As so many of my friends know, I absolutely love the Hoka Mach. Knowing that the Cavu was also a new model from Hoka's Fly Collection, I wanted to try it. A good friend of mine who got me into the Saucony Kinvara also recommended this shoe to me, knowing my preference in running shoes, and again, he didn't disappoint. As always with new shoes, we never know what to truly expect because theirs little to no his

Saucony Kinvara 9 Review

In this review, I will be talking about the Saucony Kinvara 9 running shoe. As some people know, I really liked the Kinvara 8. It took me a couple of runs to get used to the lower drop and snug fit but eventually it became one of my most used shoes. So when the Kinvara 9's were coming out, I definitely wanted to try them out. As always with new models, we all hope whatever changes are made will be to our liking but that's not always the case. With the latest version, personal

Hoka One One Mach Review

In this review, I will be talking about the brand new Hoka One One Mach running shoe. We all know there is no such thing as a perfect running shoe because everyone would be wearing the same shoe. But I do believe there is the perfect running shoe for each individual. I have a lot of shoes that I've liked, a couple that I loved, but rarely one that I considered perfect. This is one that for me personally, is perfect! After using the Clayton 2 and really liking it, I was nervou

Under Armour SpeedForm Velociti Review

In this review, I will be talking about the Under Armour SpeedForm Velociti running shoe. After falling in love with the Under Armour Bandit 2 shoe, I decided to give the Velociti a chance and once again, I was not disappointed. Just like with the Bandit, as soon as I put the shoe on, I loved it. The shoe fit my foot perfectly and felt great. I really like the direction Under Armour is going with their running shoes and their design team is making them look really nice as wel

Saucony Kinvara 8 Review

In this review, I will be talking about the Saucony Kinvara 8 running shoe. A co-worker and good friend of mine really loves this shoe and encouraged me to give it a try. The first two runs gave me blisters on my toes and I almost gave them away but I noticed on the third run they began to loosen up for me and felt really good. Ever since, I have used them two to three times a week; most recently on a 14 mile run. This shoe weighs 7.9 ounces and feels even lighter than that t

Brooks Launch 4 Review

In this review, I will be talking about the Brooks Launch 4 running shoe. This is my first version of the Launch that I could actually wear because they've always been too narrow in the toe box for me. After running about 50 miles in them I think I have a good enough idea about this shoe to finally review it. This shoe weighs 9 ounces but still feels decently light. This is a 10mm drop/offset shoe for neutral runners but also has a little bit of support which I've witnessed i

Under Armour Bandit 2 Review

In this review, I will be talking about the Under Armour Bandit 2 running shoe. This is my first running shoe from Under Armour and I am very impressed. Since trying this shoe on I have been in love. I have not run in any of my other shoes since and already plan on buying another one since I'm putting so many miles on this one. This shoe weighs 9.8 ounces but feels a lot lighter and almost as if you're not wearing a shoe at all. This is a 10mm drop/offset shoe for neutral run

Saucony Peregrine 6 Review

In this review, I will be talking about the Saucony Peregrine 6 trail running shoe. This was my second time running in a shoe by with Saucony's new EVERUN cushion and I love it more and more with each use. With my location, trail shoes are honestly not needed. Most trails around here are not technical and you can use a road shoe on them just fine. But for the occasional technical spot or trail, it's nice to have a good trail shoe and in my opinion, this is a great one! This s

Adidas Supernova Glide Boost Review

In this review, I will be talking about the Adidas Supernova Glide Boost running shoe. This was my second time running in a shoe by Adidas. I have to say that I still think the Energy Boost is my favorite shoe so far out of the Adidas brand but I also still like this model. I definitely like the look of this shoe. I've come to like almost every Adidas running shoe I've seen. They definitely seem to have some good designers who consider all types of runners preferences when it

Newton Distance IV Review

In this review, I will be talking about the Newton Distance IV running shoe. Even though the Distance V is now out, the shoe is still pretty much exactly the same. If I happen to find there to really be any difference good or bad I will write a review on it. With Newton's, it's recommended to start with their POP 3 show or if higher, the POP 2. Reason being that this isn't really a brand you should just jump right into their top shoes. The POP 1 shoes have lower heel to toe d

Brooks Racer ST 5 Review

In this review, I will be talking about the Brooks Racer ST 5 running shoe. Since getting this shoe on Christmas Eve, it's literally been my most used shoe and been on a couple of memorable runs. I instantly loved the look of the shoe; which you should have guessed by my taste in the bright colors of running apparel. I especially like that it's pretty visible in darker runs like early morning before the sun is up or late evening after the sun has gone down. I was really happy

Adidas Energy Boost ESM Review

In this review, I will be talking about the Adidas Energy Boost ESM running shoe. This was my first time running in a shoe by Adidas. I have to say that this is probably my favorite shoe so far out of everything I've tried and run in. Right out of the gate I loved the look of the shoe. I have no issues with wild and loud colors but this design looks really nice to me. I also like the darker colors again for the fact that the shoe will stay looking clean longer. I've taken it

Salming Distance A2 Review

In this review, I will be talking about the Salming Distance A2 running shoe. Now, when I first received this shoe I was a lot happier than the first model I received. I was given the A3 model but unfortunately I could only use it once because the toe box just wasn't wide enough and my toes went numb multiple times on a 4 1/2 mile run. Even though this model is no longer the current model I am glad I got to test it out. Hopefully going forward on future models they go back to

Hoka One One Clifton 2 Review

In this review, I will be talking about the Hoka One One Clifton 2 shoe. Now, when I first see the Hoka shoes in general, I instantly broke the rule of "never judge a book by it's cover". Just by looking at them, they looked huge, silly and heavy. When I finally agreed to put on a couple pairs, I instantly felt foolish for my pre-judgement. The Clifton 2 weighs about 8 oz. If you're like me and don't like your feet feeling heavy during runs, the Hoka brand in general is somet

Salming Race R21 Review

In this review, I will be talking about the Salming Race R21 running shoe. Now, when I first received this, just looking at it, picking it up, and trying it on, I was impressed. When it comes to running shoes, I like them to stand out. The colors and design of this shoe really caught my eye and stood out. The only thing I will warn you about that is that the brightness is quickly fading with use. Not that it really matters, but because of the type of material, and possibly th
