In this review, I will be talking about the Under Armour Bandit 2 running shoe. This is my first running shoe from Under Armour and I am very impressed. Since trying this shoe on I have been in love. I have not run in any of my other shoes since and already plan on buying another one since I'm putting so many miles on this one.
This shoe weighs 9.8 ounces but feels a lot lighter and almost as if you're not wearing a shoe at all. This is a 10mm drop/offset shoe for neutral runners but also has a little bit of support which I've witnessed it work for people who over-pronate as well. The cushion is firmer in the heel and softer in the forefoot but the heel still feels very cushioned. It has a Molded Micro G footbed that molds to your foot which keeps the shoe comfortable especially on longer runs.
The upper materiel is very light, breathable and stretchable. The tongue is connected to the upper which helps keep your foot snug and in place along the mid-foot. The heel has a nice internal cup that keeps your ankle and heel locked in and secure as well. The toe box is pretty wide so your toes have a lot of room and you should avoid blisters. Overall with the weight and fit, this shoe feels amazing. When you add on the look and design of the shoe, I cannot find one thing I dislike with the shoe. This is most likely going to be ranked as one of my all time top 5 favorite shoes. Yes, I love it that much!
I've already put in a few double digit mile runs in the shoe including a half marathon distance and enjoyed the shoe throughout the entire run each time. I plan on using this shoe for my 2 upcoming marathons and expect to feel great in them. As you can tell I really love this shoe and I highly recommend it! Probably the best part is that the price for this shoe is only $99. Ever since I got this shoe I have been bragging about it and recommending it to everyone. I don't see that changing any time soon either!
