Under Armour SpeedForm Velociti Review

In this review, I will be talking about the Under Armour SpeedForm Velociti running shoe. After falling in love with the Under Armour Bandit 2 shoe, I decided to give the Velociti a chance and once again, I was not disappointed. Just like with the Bandit, as soon as I put the shoe on, I loved it. The shoe fit my foot perfectly and felt great. I really like the direction Under Armour is going with their running shoes and their design team is making them look really nice as well. If I had to choose one brand that I feel is doing great in both the feel and look of their shoes, Under Armour is it.

This shoe weighs 8 ounces and feels very light. This is a 8mm drop/offset shoe for neutral runners. The cushion feels firmer to me than shoes like the Bandit and Saucony Kinvara but it's definitely great for a racing shoe and a training shoe. I've used it for speed runs, races and slower/longer distance training runs and felt like the cushion was just right for each type of run. If this was a little softer it would be perfect to me.

The upper materiel is pretty light and breathable. I really like the toe box space in this shoe. Anyone who knows me knows that I like a lot of room for my toes and this shoe definitely provides it. The midfoot and heel feel pretty snug and secure which is great. This shoe is designed for medium to high arches. The blown rubber in the forefoot and high abrasion rubber in the heel are very durable and feel great. I've put a lot of miles on this shoe and am considering using it for an upcoming half marathon.

The price of the shoe is $110 which is on par with the other shoes in this price range. I feel like you will get the same durability and use out of these compared to the others in this price range. If you're looking for a great racing or speed shoe, I highly recommend this one.
