NOW® Sports Effer-Hydrate & Effer-Energy

I received Ultima Replenisher hydration packs to review as part of being a BibRave Pro. Learn more about becoming a BibRave Pro (ambassador), and check out BibRave.com to review, find, and write race reviews!"

South Florida running during the summer definitely requires an increase on your fluid intake to remain hydrated. I sweat quickly and a lot so I often go through fluids quickly during my runs. I'm always looking for options that taste delicious, sit well with my stomach, and most importantly, work! I got the chance to test these out before, during and after a race and the results were consistent. I also enjoyed them during the week while working and lounging around in the pool.

I got to try all of the original flavors; Orange, Cherry Pomegranate, Lemon, Grape, Raspberry and Blue Raspberry. I also got to try the new Mocktini flavors; Coconut Piña Colada, Appletini and Peach Bellini. If I had to choose a favorite, it would be a three way tie between Orange, Lemon and Grape. Honestly though, I really enjoyed every one of the flavors. I think the biggest surprise was how delicious the Coconut Piña Colada was because I really do not enjoy things with coconut in them but this one definitely got my approval.

I didn't have any stomach issues with these which is always a plus, especially reducing the amount of things to worry about on a long run or race day. The packets are small and very convenient to carry, especially in a handheld bottle pouch or hydration pack pocket. They're pretty easy to open though if you sweat a lot like me, it may be easier to open them with your teeth. As for mixing it, I have to reach out to the brand to see if it's better to mix with lukewarm water vs cold because I noticed a little bit of the powder would clump up into tiny balls that would have to be broken up by a stirrer which was difficult. Otherwise, the majority of it dissolved perfectly and was immediately drinkable.

The results were just as good and consistent as the flavor. I definitely noticed myself feeling more hydrated when using these. I felt like they were successful in rehydrating me and keeping me hydrated for a good amount of time during runs. When using them during the week, I also noticed them helping to reduce my sugar craving. Because of this, I would definitely keep using them since hydration between runs/workouts is just as important as during them. This is another brand that prior to getting some to test, I had never heard of, yet friends of mine told me they use it and love it. This was confirmation that this is a great option to try and to consider adding to your daily fluid consumption.

Ultima Replenisher is an advanced, balanced electrolyte drink that provides highly effective hydration with six electrolytes and no junk, sugar, calories or carbs. Another bonus is that it is sweetened only with organic Stevia leaf and made with real fruit flavor extracts. They contain electrolytes, trace minerals, vitamin C and zinc. The minerals are magnesium, potassium, calcium, sodium, chloride, phosphorus which all work in a delicate balance to keep your body hydrated. Other benefits include being Vegan, Non-GMO, Gluten-Free, Caffeine-Free, Keto-Friendly, Paleo-Friendly, Peanut-Free, Soy-Free and Autism Approved. It's also nice that they're safe for pregnant and nursing women as will as children as young as 4 years old.

I definitely recommend these and encourage you to give them a try. If you do, make sure to comment and let me know what you think. My opinion isn't the only one that matters so here are some of my fellow BibRave ambassadors reviews as well.
